Yoga classes for people of all levels of health and experience. Counselling for people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or grief and loss issues.
I am a psychologist and yoga teacher with experience in health research, private practice and education. My counselling approach has a strong emphasis on mindfulness-based techniques. My aim is to help people develop the tools to manage their health and feel more at peace with themselves.
Combining my skills in Western psychology and mindfulness techniques, I provide counselling three days a week at UFS Medical, level 1, 40 Bridge Mall, Ballarat. I also consult on Monday mornings at UFS Medical Buninyong and on Saturday mornings at 202 Doveton St Nth, Ballarat. People with a mental health care plan from their GP are eligible for a medicare rebate. Its a good idea to book a double appointment with your GP to discuss your health care plan. Ballarat Restorative Yoga Class
Wednesday evenings in central Ballarat. More information and dates can be found here. Term 4 starts on 5 October 2016. Places are available.
Breath Body Mind Program
A six week breathing and qigong (gentle movement) program suitable for people who experience high stress or chronic illness. No experience of yoga or qigong is necessary. The practices are done while lying on the floor or sitting in a chair. The next group commences on 6 September 2016. The course will be offered in 2017.
